This web page is dedicated to Saint John of Shanghai and San Francisco (1896 – 1966), considered a saint in his own lifetime. Manifesting many forms of Orthodox sanctity, he was at once a God-inspired theologian and a fool-for-Christ. A zealous missionary hierarch of the Eastern Orthodox Church, St. John was a loving father to orphans as well as a severe ascetic. He was perhaps the greatest saint of the 20th Century.

Children excited for Christmas!

360 children were given toys picked out by their parents; 70 families were given large food boxes with either a ham or a turkey. It was a joyous day filled with God’s grace and the gifts of the Child Christ.
