    Lenten Class at St. John's

nullOur classes for this Great Lenten season will be from the excellent spiritual book, WOUNDED BY LOVE. They will be on Tuesday nights at 7:30PM at St. John the Wonderworker Orthodox Church in our Parish Hall beginning the second Tuesday in Lent, March 14th, and will go for 5 weeks. Whether you plan to attend the classes or not, I think you will find this book exceptional reading.

The book is $20 and if you are interested, you might email Catherine Payne at St. John’s bookstore so that she will know how many books to order…her email address is: cjpayne502@aol.com

    Loaves & Fishes Needs Volunteers!

Greetings and Happy New Year to Everyone:

As the New Year begins we have to rethink the service of the Loaves and Fishes Program. As of today we have no helpers in the food program to give out food other than myself…so I am sending out a Volunteer Call to the Orthodox of Altanta to see if any would consider Volunteering one day or one morning or afternoon Monday through Friday to serve the poor a meal
including the possibility of cooking one.

Our hours of operation are Monday through Friday from 10AM-10:30AM and 2PM-2:30PM…we serve twice a day.

Thank you for considering this service…we certainly need you… & please call us!!!
