Meat Slicer Donated to Loaves & Fishes
A brand new meat slicer was given on Thursday, Dec. 22, to the Loaves & Fishes program. The slicer was needed because to slice the turkeys donated to make sandwiches for the daily meals provided by the program at St. John the Wonderworker. The turkey this year was not sliced and God provided a slicer for them! Glory to God!

Dear fellow servants of Christ,
Please open your hearts this year because the need is great. As of Sunday, December 4th we have only collected 4 gifts (Toys). We need many, many toys (Over 500). We need you love for children to multiply into toys, food and money (checks can be made to: “Loaves & Fishes” and mailed to St. John the Wonderworker Orthodox Church, directly). Please be a giver in this world where many suffer.

The Marriage Enrichment class reports they had a wonderful fellowhip and meal at St. Mary’s of Egypt on Nov. 12. There were six wives (including Mother Terri seven!) and no husbands that came!
Glykeria reports that they “enjoyed our ‘girl’ time together, sharing, learning and growing in Christ. So much so that there was an idea that we ladies choose one evening a month were we can get together for fellowship. Please let me know if you are interested to participate in this Orthodox Womens’ Fellowship. Helen Bouboulis graciously has offered to organize this activity for us!”

Young Adult Fellowship
There is now a Young Adult pan-Orthodox group, YAL. YAL is intended help us get to know other Orthodox young adults, to support our faith and our community. We have done and will do: social events; service projects; fund raisers. You can get on the E-Mailing list and get regular updates about all events. Send an e-mail to info@atlantayal.org and ask to be added to the e-mail list.
